The Guy Next Door and So Much More
In Matthew 1:23, the Bible, speaking of Jesus, says, “And they shall call His name Immanuel, which translated means, ‘God with us.” It is mind-boggling to think that the King of kings and Lord of lords, the Creator of the universe, wrapped Himself in human flesh and became God with us! And not only did He come to be with us, but to be one of us. Jesus was human in every sense of the word and experienced humanity, just like every other human. He was the ultimate Every Man! But He was so much more, and because He was the everyman and so much more, He can provide help in our time of need.
