His desire is for you to use those gifts for kingdom impact. Every member plays a necessary part. What you experience on Sundays, Wednesdays, and any time our doors are open is only possible through dedicated, passionate volunteers. When you “say yes” to following Jesus, your next step is to “say yes” to serving His church.
Rotational Helpers 9:00AM/ 10:30AM
We need volunteers who will serve every other month in the Preschool area.
Month On/Month Off Rotation at 10:30AM
We need volunteers who will serve every other month in Preschool Worship during the 10:30am hour.
Substitute Helpers Sunday AM
When a Preschool Helper is out sick or on vacation, we need volunteers willing to step in and help on Sunday morning.
Wednesday Night Teachers
We need volunteers willing to teach Preschoolers on Wednesday nights.

Student Helper
Looking for Students willing to help in Preschool ministry.
Preschool Welcome Desk
Stationed at the Preschool welcome desk to create a safe and friendly environment for our children and families. While greeting families, you would also collect information for first time guests.
Substitute Connect Group Teacher
When a Connect Group teacher is out sick or on vacation. we need volunteers willing to step in and teach.
Kids Ministry Helper
Looking for those willing to assist the Kids Ministry team as needed.
Student Helper
Looking for Students willing to help in Kids Ministry.
KidZone Welcome Desk
We need volunteers stationed at the KidZone Welcome desk to create a friendly and safe environment for our children and families. This position will also gather information for first time guests.
Chaperone for Special Events
We need volunteers willing to chaperone students special events.

On Wednesday nights, we need adults willing to be present with our students and ensure they are where are they suppose to be.

We need photographers to capture still images and video for student activities on Sunday morning, Wednesday nights, or special events, as needed.
First Impressions Team
The First Impression team provides friendly faces to greet our church family and guests on Sunday morning. They provide information regarding our worship activities, groups, and finding their way around our facility.
Adult Connect Group Substitute Teachers
When a Connect Group teacher is out sick or on vacation, we need volunteers willing to step in and teach.
Intercessory Prayer Team
Looking for prayer warriors who meet monthly to pray over needs of the church family. Additionally, there are text messages sent as prayer needs arise between meetings.
Photography Team- Still short form video
We need photographers to capture still images and video for church activities on Sunday morning, Wednesday nights, or special events, as needed.
Beach Club (during school year)
We need volunteers to work with our Kids Ministry team at Altruria Elementary on Thursday afternoons during the school year where we have an opportunity to do bible study with their students.
Lawn & Landscaping
If you enjoy mowing, edging, tree/shrub trimming and flower bed maintenance, this is for you.
Building Maintenance
If you have a heart for keeping things running smoothly and looking its best, we need help.
Painting
If you enjoy painting, we always have things to be painted.
Life Safety Team
This team is charged with guarding the work and mission of the church from preventable harm and mitigate the risk of harm to life and property through emergency readiness, safety training, and the implementation of safety protocols.
Housekeeping
Looking for those who love to clean! Need help dusting, vacuuming, washing windows, sanitizing toys, etc.
Audio Engineer
If you have an ear for sound quality, we need help with microphones, speakers, mixing boards and other devices on Sunday morning and for special events.
Production Team
Looking for people who want to help us with production elements for worship services and special events, to include cameras, running lyrics, choosing camera shots, etc.

Frequently Asked Questions
What needs and opportunities are available?
There are many different ministry teams in which you can serve. Each team has multiple positions covering a variety of needs. You can view our full list of opportunities here.
What if I have absolutely no idea what I want to do ?
What if I have limited availability?
We’ll work with you to figure out your serving availability and make sure you land somewhere that’s a good fit. We have opportunities weekly, monthly, quarterly, and everywhere in between. Don’t let availability be a reason that is holding you back from saying yes to serving on one of our ministry teams.
Do I have to be a member to serve?
Can my children serve?
You’re never too young or old to “say yes” to serving! Students in grades 7-12 are encouraged to join one of the many ministry teams appropriate for their age. There are many service opportunities available in which your younger children can serve alongside you, too, and even some positions in our kids environments that children can fulfill independently. Can I serve on more than one team?
Of course! We recognize that everyone’s schedule, availability, and giftedness is different so we encourage you to plug in wherever you can as often as you can. Many of our members are a part of one ministry team on Sundays and another on Wednesdays. As long as you are honoring God with your time you can “say yes” to many needs.
