CloseGod speaks in many ways, and one of those ways is through situations and circumstances. Hearing God through circumstances is the most subjective means of hearing the Lord and the most easily abused. It takes spiritual sensitivity and biblical understanding to clearly hear God speak through life situations. In Acts, Luke pays special attention to the interplay between human purpose and divine purpose and how Christians often have to check their plans at the door and learn through circumstances, what God’s plans are. The verses we looked at today help explain how to hear God through the circumstantial. Paul had plans, but the Lord spoke through circumstances to help Paul realize his plans weren’t really God’s plans.
